too tight

I think i should stop painting for today. My paintings are becoming more and more sad than cheerful innocence. goodnight for the day...

waiting in the rain

I realize this one isn't has happy or light bright colors as the other 2, but i think it still carries the same feeling. I liked how this one came out :)

it's a new experimentation

here is my 2nd images in a collection about a little girl. I'm still not quite sure what i want to call this collection, but there's something sweet and light about them all that i want to make sure i keep.

more design!

Alright, this is a poster I needed to design for my Comm Studio class. This is just the first draft so expect revisions to come! So basically, we had to design a poster or ad for a book we chose to read and create an event following it (i.e. i did a book signing). I chose 1984 and this what I came up with:

yay for design!

I love illustration, but I have to admit, I think my heart still belongs to design. So this is an ad I helped Joon with for his Puma shoe assignment. They had to create an advertisement that went along with the shoe they made. Thus, I made something that related to Puma and Parkour :)

it's precious

Its precious (literally) so its another fish piece, cause I HEART fishes! I dont know why, but i just love drawing fishes. something about their flowly tails, I enjoy playing with them very much. this piece is called "it's precious" for 2 reasons. first, cause of course how it's being held, as if something was special to the person and number 2, because I put a lot of time into the fish so it's precious to me!

curious?

For some reason, I've had fascinations with drawing fish, whether its gold fish or coy fish, theyre just awesome things to draw. Their tails are beautiful! and not surprisingly, i exaggerate them a lot :)

accidents aren't the best

soooo i was working on this piece last night and it was late and i finished it. i look at the size and realize its off by at least a few inches. there's no real way for me to blow it up without pixelating it, so i guess it's just going to have to be a really small piece in my collection.

a second try

so, i've redone the illustration of krista. this time i just did the whole thing in photoshop to show daniel a sequence of photos in the same medium. so, which ones better!? the marker rendering or the digital painting?!

childish fun

so yay! here is my first post consisting of an illustration. and, with each post of an illustration, i will explain who it is (hopefully that is ok with the subject) and how i was inspired to draw it. Cause i mean, that is the most important part i would say. all my illustrations that i am doing for this class are inspired by the people i am around and the things that happen, more or less.

So this piece is of my friend krista. i was in her room one day and i saw the cutest picture of her when she was a child. she was holding a white bunny and i just thought, wow she is such a cute child! thus, i had to illustrate the childish and fun side of krista, who we all love! and wait, of course, her red bag!
